It's Dre

Hi, I'm Andre Farrugia, a 26-year-old freelance photographer from the charming village of Siggiewi, Malta. Currently, I am honored to be the photographer for the Maltese Under 21 and Women’s National Football Teams.

My passion for photography was instilled in me by my grandfather, who introduced me to a world of images from a different yet equally beautiful era. His influence has deeply shaped my appreciation for capturing moments and telling stories through my lens.

While my primary focus is football photography, capturing the dynamic and exhilarating moments on the field, I also branch out into portraits and special occasions. Whether it’s the intensity of a match, the joy of a child’s Holy Communion or Confirmation, or the uniqueness of an individual’s portrait, I strive to create images that resonate and evoke emotion.

My work allows me to blend my love for sports with the art of photography, creating a unique narrative for each event I cover. I believe that every photograph has a story to tell, and my goal is to capture the essence of those stories in every shot.

Mark Mangion, whom have all greatly shaped and influenced my passion for photography, along with many other photographers who I nowadays call friends.
